"Do unto others as I would have God do unto me"
Seems like that fits a little better, huh? The whole 'as you would have others do unto you" seems too vague and improbable, especially when you live in a really large city. There are just too many mean people out there, or simply people who do not live by the same principles or guidelines as I do.
- I sure wish God would forgive me.
- I sure wish God would speak to me.
- I sure wish God would help me when He sees I need it.
- I sure wish God would love me no matter how fat, ugly, unsuccessful, or even ornery I may get.
See? You want God to treat YOU this way... maybe you should consider treating others the way you want God to treat YOU! Try it... for a day, even, and see how much better your attitude is, and even more-so how your perspective of 'the people' is from His eyes.
